The CGFNS exam is no longer a requirement to work as an RN in the US. Do not be misled into taking this exam unnecessarily! However, if you have already passed CGFNS you can be sponsored for a green card as soon as you have accepted a position with a US hospital.

If you are very specific about location then to be made eligible to sit the NCLEX exam in your desired State you may need to apply to the CGFNS organisation for their CES credentializing report. This will look into your nursing education and training, and any nurse licenses you have held and even your secondary school but the good news is it is not an exam. Again it very much depends on which State you are applying through as to their specific requirements.
